We have two skills working. The easy and the complete one.

  • The easy skill allows you to simply open, and close your furniture completely. When is setted the commands are as is as: “Alexa, open furniturename”.
  • The complete skill is used when you want to move every single part of your furniture.
    It is a conversation with Alexa like:
    USER: “Alexa, open chair control”
    ALEXA: “Ready to move your chair, what do you want to do?”
    USER: “Legs up”
    ALEXA: “Ok, legs up, anything else?”

You can start a conversation with Alexa by saying “Alexa, launch chair control” or “Alexa, start Chair Control”(complete skill).
ou can quickly say a command saying “Alexa, open furniturename” or Alexa, “set furniturename to 1”(easy skill), where “furniturename” is the name of your furniture setted in RelAsk.com web portal.

You can find a list on https://relask.com or you can simply say “Alexa, launch chair control” and enter the help section with “help”. Alexa will give you feedback on how to use the skill.

Try with the following steps: 

  • Check that the account associated with RelAsk is the same linked with Alexa. 
  • Check that the Skill inside the Amazon Alexa app is linked to the Relask account Be sure you are using the right RelAsk account. 
  • Check if the skill is working. If accounts are correctly linked, Alexa should answer “What chair do you want to control” or “Ready to move your chair”.

Try with the following steps: 

  • Be sure you are trying to move the right furniture. 
  • Check that the account associated with RelAsk is the same linked with Alexa. 
  • Check that the Skill inside the Amazon Alexa app is linked to the Relask account Be sure you are using the right RelAsk account. 

You can check the current chair name from App -> "Settings" -> "Manage chair’s cloud". 

Open the Relask App and verify that your chair is connected to the internet. 

Relask App -> Informations (Internet and cloud connection needs to be checked). 

Try to reboot your chair from the App. If you notice the Relask cloud is continuously down check your wifi connection. 

If your furniture is connected and still not moving, check the seatpad (if installed) or try to re-configure the chair in "Settings" -> "Application & Preferences" -> "Reset Chair". Please note that in this way you delete all configurations from the chair.

GOOGLE

You can start a conversation with Google by saying “Hey Google, talk to chair control”.

You can find a list on https://relask.com or you can simply say “Hey Google, talk to chair control” and enter the help section with “help”. Google will give you how to use the action.

Try with the following steps: 

  • Be sure you are trying to move the right furniture. 
  • Check that the account associated with RelAsk is the same linked with Google.
  • Open the Relask App and verify that your chair is connected to the internet. Relask App -> Informations (Internet and cloud connection needs to be checked). 
  • Try to reboot your chair from the App. 
  • If you notice the Relask cloud is continuously down check your wifi connection. 
  • If your furniture is connected and still not moving, check the seatpad (if installed) or try to re-configure the chair in "Settings" -> "Reset Chair".
    Please note that in this way you delete all configurations from the chair.

Some smartphone devices have specific widget for Google Commands. Please open the Google Home App and check if Relask Action works from here. If the Google Home App is still not working, check that the account you are using is the correct account.

Try with the following steps:

  • Google Assistant account is the same as your Google Home account in the smartphone you used to configure the Action.
  • Try to set or reset Voice Match. Reset the Voice Match allows your Google Assistant to detect your voice better. This ensures that the system doesn't deem you as a guest ( Sometimes guests can’t use all the actions).

RelAsk can work at the same time on your Alexa, Google and Siri voice assistant. Just be sure you had correctly configured all three systems.

SIRI

You have a complete list of shortcuts you can add directly on your RelAsk App. 

Open RelAsk App, go to "Settings" -> "Add Siri Voice Control".

ACCESSORIES

Try to follow these steps:

  • Check that the furniture moves through the RelAsk App. If it correctly moves it is not a problem of the presence sensor. 
  • Try reconfiguring the furniture using the App: go to "settings" -> "Application & preferences" -> "RESET device preferences". Then reboot the app and reconnect.

ONLY PROFESSIONAL: Check that the presence sensor is connected correctly to the furniture control unit.

Try to follow these steps:

  • Check that the furniture moves through the RelAsk App. If it correctly moves it is not a problem of the safety/stop button. 
  • Try reconfiguring the furniture using the App: go to "settings" -> "Application & preferences" -> "RESET device preferences". Then reboot the app and reconnect. 

ONLY PROFESSIONAL: Check that the button is properly connect to the control unit.

Try to follow these steps:

  • Check that the furniture moves through the RelAsk App. If it correctly moves it is not a problem of the safety/stop button. 
  • Try reconfiguring the furniture using the App: go to "settings" -> "Application & preferences" -> "RESET device preferences". Then reboot the app and reconnect. 

ONLY PROFESSIONAL: Check that the button is properly connect to the control unit.

ONLY PROFESSIONAL: Check led blinks when the App connects to the chair. If not, check the led connect to the control unit and cables or connectors are not damaged.

You can set the sensibility for the footrest sensor with your App. 

Open RelAsk App, go to "settings" -> "Enable Legs Controls" and you can easily change the sensibility of the sensor( 1 more sensibility, 5 more strength for the stop). If you want to avoid this security feature set the value to zero.
